I've made good on my promise to play with my makeup more and for the last few days I've been preoccupied with looks for Halloween (more on this in my next post). After getting the children ready for a party at the weekend, I thought it would fun to have a go myself. I don't think it looks as OTT in the photographs as it felt in person, it's hard to know whether that's my conservative nature to blame or the flash! I love how the eyes and the lips turned out but I know I couldn't bring myself to wear the pair together ordinarily.

I love it! Your eyes look stunning and I have always loved you in a bright red lippy you look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Debbie. I got this lipstick as one of my Back 2 Mac choices and I absolutely love it. With the lipgloss on top it lasted blinking ages too. Result!
DeleteWow, Jane! This is dramatic and wearable. I can totally see you rocking this look at a party. I think a pale lip would drain all the drama (hee hee) out of this look and love the bright lip with this.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bellyhead! I suck (hee hee) at wearing pale lipsticks and completely agree that it wouldn't suit in my case. I just need a suitable wig and soiree and I'm all set :D
DeleteYou pull this off very well, the combination on the eyes is stunning, beautiful blending, love it! xx
ReplyDeleteThis looks AMAZING Jane! The eyes are sooo gorgeous and I like the way the colours contrast against your eye colour. The lippie looks fab too:)
ReplyDeleteI love this SO much. Screw Halloween, you should rock this every day :D
