Sorry for the rather heedless use of abbreviations in the title. I tried and failed to come up with something more catchy, I really did. In case you haven't come across these abbreviations before, RBR = Rouge Bunny Rouge and LMdB = Le Metier de Beaute. I seem to have posted quite a few face of the day type posts recently, we mostly have the school holidays to thank/blame for this as I have more time to play with makeup but less time to write. I'm sure I'll be catching up with lots of reviews in September.
Today, I went for more golden toned neutrals on the eye than is my usual habit. I resisted the urge to reach for one of my beige-pink blushers and used MAC Prim & Proper instead. This blusher went in my 'maybe' box during my sort out a couple of months ago. I'm still not sure about it and I think it turns too orange on my skin to be entirely flattering. Time to go back in the box, maybe? Let me know what you think.

Your hourglass Lipstick color is very very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI use Fresco a lot, it's such an easy to wear shade. I think I've already made quite a dent in it!
DeleteI am loving you in these warmer colours- you look gorgeous! I'll have to check out Prim and Proper , I need a new blush after all. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you! Prim & Proper was one of MACs pesky limited edition colours from a couple of years back. It's similar to MAC Cubic but a little warmer and more peachy I think.
DeleteThose LE's are pesky indeed. I have Cherub from MAC which I love for spring and summer but want something a bit more subdued for fall.
DeleteWe have very similar colouring and I always thought I was a 'cool' person but after a Mum's night out getting a Colour Me Beautiful analysis discovered I am a Clear (dark hair, light eyes, light skin) with Warm undertones. Colour me astonished! There is something to it as I look much better in the suggested colours. Have you had yours done?
Well, yes and no. I went to a hen do where they had a lady come in to do the hen's colours. She briefly did everyone else at the end but she'd obviously had enough when she got to me. All I recall was her insulting my choice of clothes. I might have had some wine by this point ;)
DeleteI imagine that I would be Clear too from your description. I know I can wear warmer colours than I usually do. I just can't really do browns with lots of red in them. I'd be fascinated to get my colours done properly some time.
