I received this lipgloss as part of the Eyeko Ambassador scheme. I was really pleased when I saw the colour as it looks like NARS Orgasm in lipgloss form. It's a pretty colour, smells like Sweetheart sweeties and although it feels a little sticky it feels quite moisturising too.
Here's the rest of today's makeup.
Face
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage SC-3
RMK Super Basic Liquid Concealer
Shu Uemura brow pencil
NARS Laguna
Paul & Joe Face Colour in 04 (thank you Nina!)
Eyes
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
NARS Mélusine eyeshadow duo
RBR Lacquer Liner
Maybelline Lash Stiletto
Writing this post has reminded me that I bought some Eyeko polishes a little while ago and I still need to try a few of them out. I'm intrigued to try the Fat Balm next as these seem really popular. Do you have an Eyeko favourites you can recommend?

NARS Mélusine Duo Eyeshadow
The NARS Holiday collection came out at the beginning of the week and I was sent the Mélusine eyeshadow duo to try. I must admit that this really appealed to me when I saw pictures of the collection. It reminded me a bit of my Hourglass duo which I wear a lot.
The dark purple has quite a lot of red to it, unfortunatley I can never quite get my camera to capture these shades. For colour reference though, it is quite similar to MAC Vibrant Grape. The lighter shade is more difficult to describe. It's a silvery grey but has a lilac tone to it, it's very pretty and I think it's rather unique. It has a frost finish wheres the purple is a matte shade.
I was rather concerned when I swatched the purple as it wouldn't go on smoothly. I'm happy to say that it isn't chalky when applied. I used a 217 brush to apply to the crease and I had no problems with the texture. It isn't heavily pigmented though and doesn't apply as dark as you might expect looking at the colour in the pan. I like how these look on the eye though and I think they make a very nice pairing.
I wore these eyeshadows all day and there was a little creasing but considering I went out in the wind and rain, I think the colours lasted very well. It has definitely piqued my interest in the NARS duos eyeshadows. There are some really beautiful pairings. Do you have any favourite NARS eyeshadows?
Disclosure: this item was sent to me without cost for the purposes of review.
