TheTenBest.co.uk & Zuneta's Vlogger Contest

I'm moonlighting on thetenbest.co.uk today talking about my pick of The Ten Best Makeup Brushes. My collection of brushes has grown considerably over the last couple of years so it was interesting to muse on which brushes I would consider to be must-haves. I was rather shocked by how heavily MAC featured in my top ten. I do have a great many brushes that I love but in terms of accessibility and function, I think that MAC brushes are hard to beat. Particularly their eyeshadow brushes.

I'd really love to know what you would pick as your top ten brushes. Would you disagree with any of my choices? Have I missed any essentials?

Now I'm about to do something I have never done on my blog before and mention that I have entered a contest. In a fit of weekend madness I entered my BECCA Professional Brush Soap demo video into Zuneta's Vlogger Contest. I'm not under any illusions about winning but you might find the video interesting if you haven't already seen it before. It's amazing how a soap in a tin has revolutionised my brush washing!

      I'm terrible with brush buying Nic. I reason with myself that at least they 'won't go off'! I imagine I'll be doing more brush browsing at IMATS too :-O

    I,m soo bad with brushes, I either lose them somewhere or break them...well done on keeping them all in good nick! ;) x

      I'm like that with sunglasses! Some life in a pot and the others are in a brush roll. I try my hardest to keep them away from little fingers too ;) x

    Have never tried MAC brushes myself, but the range they offer is really impressive!

      The range is impressive. I do like lots of other brush makes but MAC definitely offer a good range and I have duplicates of the the eye brushes I mentioned. I think that probably says quite a lot!

    Love your soap demo! Good luck and hope you do well. Meanwhile, that brush soap is really something. I just got my Becca soap last week and really amazed at how well it cleaned through my foundation brushes. Love your blog.

      Thank you! I'm really pleased you like the brush soap too. I find I can clean all my brushes in the fraction of the time it used to take.

    Good luck on the contest!! I hope you win it. You are the one that convinced me to buy the Becca soap.

    MAC 217 and 239 are my most used brushes. I can't be without them.

      Thanks Marcia. I'm not sure I have much of a chance but the brush soap is definitely worth shouting about. The MAC 217 and 239 are my must used brushes too. I'd recommend them to anyone who's starting out a collection of brushes.
