If you still wish to follow non-Blogger blogs using Google Reader, you can subscribe by manually adding the URL (though I know some people have had issues with this). Of course, you may prefer to use a different platform such as Bloglovin or Hello Cotton. It's also worth checking your blogroll, if you have one, to make sure your favourite blogs are still updating properly.

I'm glad I read this - the whole thing makes me cross and I blogged about it too. But I didn't realise I could manually input the URL and it would still show up in my blogger dashboard. So thank you for that tip. I really love bloglovin, but some days I'm a bit lazy and only check blogger so it's good to know. :-) x
