Glitter Gal 3D Holographic Nail Varnish in Copper

I first came across Glitter Gal 3D holographic nail polish when I spotted it on the lovely Oxford Jasmine toes. These are polishes you can't help admiring! I spent a good while researching swatches and where best to buy the polishes from. Glitter Gal is an Australian cosmetics brand and although you can order from their website, the shipping is very steep though. Instead, the cheaper option is to order from Ebay. I'll write the sellers details at the bottom of this post and let you get on and have a look at this beauty.

Copper is a strange name for this beautiful polish. It's a medium pink base and there are definitely flashes of copper in the beautiful holographic shimmer. In full light it looks just like it does in the image with flash.

Application was easy. In the pictures, I'm wearing two coats and no top coat. The brush was easy to use. The only negatives were this does have quite a strong solvent smell. I spotted it as I opened the package and it lasted on my nails for quite a while. It's also a small bottle. It's 9ml volume and at bit over £9 per bottle ($14.99 US), it's not cheap. It is, however, beautiful and my nails feel much less bendy wearing it. It's definitely worth it in my book.

As I mentioned, I bought this from Ebay. The seller (llarowes) is based in the States and offers good rates for shipping. It was also excellently wrapped which is very important when it comes to nails polish. In fact, since I scheduled this post Leah Ann has launched her own online store, www.shop.llarowe.com and reduced the prices to $14 per bottle. The Glitter Gal 3D holographic polishes come in 15 shades. I already have Suede and Not Another Red on my next to buy list!

  3. What an amazing effect, I love the colour (Agree about the whole nothing like copper) and think its beautiful. It also looks like the kind of polish that will last well, if you know what I mean? Quite thick and unlikely to chip. xxxx

  8. @Meeta: It’s a really pretty colour. Not copper of course but very pretty.

    @Eden-Avalon: Yes, copper seems like a strange description but it’s a lovely colour.

    @30SomethingMel: It seemed to strengthen my nails. It’s not as thick as a glitter, a major bonus is that it’s easy to remove too.

    @laurenrhiannon: Thank you!

    @Bella Queen: Thank you. Great to see you back!

    @A Certain Vintage: I think you’d like these.

    @Monique: Thank you, I’m pleased you like it.
