Rouge Bunny Rouge - Journey Through The Stars

I love this latest Rouge Bunny Rouge look, not least because it includes several items that I already own. As well as quite a few I'd love to have!

We'll gloss over the choker as I know that no one seems to be a fan. It's a totally different matter when it comes to the look though. Coconut Milk Parfait foundation was used as a base and Sea of Tranquility highlighting liquid used to highlight the cheek bones.

The products used on the eyes were: Wishing For Wings Loose Glitter pigment, Long-lasting eyeshadows in Capricious Nightingale, Delicate Hummingbird and Vivacious Maguari. Delilah eye kohl was used to line the eyes along with Amethyst Essence Quartz eyeliner. Brows were groomed with clear Eye Gloss (Angel’s Play) and the lashes were finished off with Modelling Mascara in Midnight.

Lips and cheeks were played down using Glassy Gloss in Fleur Parfait and Blush Wand in Vermeer.

Drool!

Of the items used for the look, I have Delicate Hummingbird and Delilah eye kohl and you can see my review of them in my guest post for My Lips But Better here. I would really like to try the blush wand in Vermeer and the highlighter. I think the loose glitters are appealing too. After using their tinted moisturiser, I'm sure I'd enjoy the foundation as well.

I must point you in the direction of Grace London's post today. When chatting about this look on Twitter, Grace confessed to owning quite a few of the items used and I challenged her to re-create the look. I think she did a great job (plus, I always like a nosy at her collection) and that necklace, well, I'll let you see for yourself!

Rouge Bunny Rouge is available from Zuneta who ship Worldwide.

  1. Such a pretty look, I love anything involving cool mauves and purples, particularly when it looks as sophisticated as this. Is it wrong for my ambition to be to own all the products used in this look?!!! Jennifer X

  2. I think I'm the wrong person to ask! I'd give all of the products a happy home ;). The highlighters look so nice.

  3. I was just filling-up my imaginary Zuneta basket yesterday and it ended at somewhere around 400 GBP. Optimistic, much? But, the Delicate Hummingbird is definitely coming with me the next time I place an order at Zuneta.

  4. I could easily fill up a basket like that at Zuneta! So many luscious things on there.

I spotted your comment about Delicate Hummingbird on Grace's post. It is quite a dark colour. It's violet rather than say lilac, certainly not as dark as aubergine. I was thinking about doing a swatch comparison to help you see where it sits colourwise. Would that help?

  5. Oh, thank you, Jane, that's so kind of you, it would be very helpful if you could do some swatch comparison if you'll have the time.

  6. Me too Jen, it's very pretty.

No problem, Klara. Hopefully I'll get opportunity tomorrow. I think it will be quite a useful comparison.

  7. Hi, I have ordered some rbr items from secret sales.com. I wonder if your order has been delivered. Mine is not. Although I know it's on the way.

  8. Hi Anon, yes my order arrived a week and a bit ago. All the other people I know that ordered, had their order arrive at the same time. Are you in the UK? I think I would chase it up as that seems late compared to everyone else. Did you order at the beginning of the sale or are you in an area which has had deliveries held by the snow?

    I'm sorry you're still waiting.

  9. I just checked and I posted about my order 2 weeks ago, so it's actually more than 2 weeks since it arrived. Definitely chase it up, when did you get the dispatch email?
