Bejewelled Skylark is a beautiful, rich chocolate colour with copper shimmer. It's very pigmented and extremely smooth to apply. I loaded my brush once and covered from lashes to crease in one go. I find it very similar to Abyssinian Catbird in terms of the pigmentation and texture. Despite the creamy texture, I do not experience creasing and I do not notice any fading (my habit is to always prime with Too Faced Shadow Insurance).

I really like this look, it is very pretty. Before I looked at what you'd use I was thinking I really like the lipstick too - which is one I already have! Bejewelled Skylark is the next RBR item I would like to get, I was tempted to get it in the recent 20% off but I was trying to show some restraint (I still got a few things though;)

@Meeta: I do like this lipstick and have been picking it out a lot recently. Bejewelled Skylark is lovely and well worth adding your collection. The texture is very similar to Abysinnian Catbird, Replica did a really beautiful eye look with the both of them which I was very smitten with.

ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I'm definitely going to try it with AC. I wore it yesterday with Prance and really like how that turned out too. It's such a rich colour and as you say, not too overpowering on a paler complexion.
I love Delicate Hummingbird, I really look forward to hearing how you find it. I'm just about to put another Zuneta order in but I'm dilly dallying over one of the bits to go for. Decisions, decisions!! ;)
