Today I will be leaving my children in Mr MB's capable hands so that I can go off gallivanting. I am headed to Nottingham to attend the BBC Children in Need Appeal Day at Boots HQ. It's been a very long standing joke amongst friends and family that Boots is my second home, so to say I'm VERY EXCITED would probably be an understatement. I hear there will be raffles, bingo, beauty salons and product sales. This sounds like my kind of charity event! Well, apart from the Wii Dance Challenge.....I always try and maintain a safe distant from anything Wii related. I'm looking forward to telling you all about how it went when I get home on Friday evening.
Here's some more Pudsey Bear related fun. Nail Rock have created some very cute BBC Children In Need nail wraps which are currently available in Boots. They cost £6.65 per set with 25% from every purchase donated to BBC Children in Need. The new Nail Rock designer nail wrap range is designed to last up to 7 days on nails and 8 weeks on the toes, with each at home nail wrapping treatment taking just 15 minutes to apply. The Nail Rock pack contains a full set of nail wraps for fingernails and toes.
Courtesy of Boots, I have 25 sets of the special edition wraps to giveaway. To enter, I would like you to leave me a comment below and tell me what are you doing for Children in Need this year? Are you taking part in any fun events or maybe watching the show at home with your Pudsey ears on? Please leave an email address to contact you if your contact details are not easily available through your profile. My apologies but this is open to readers in the UK only.
The giveaway will close tomorrow, Friday 18th November at 11pm* and 25 winners will be selected at random. Good luck!
The Boring Stuff!
Only one entry per person.
Winners will receive one set of BBC Children in Need Nail Rock wraps.

The giveaway closes on Friday 18th November at 11pm (* extended from 8pm)
25 winners will be chosen at random and announced on 19th November.
I will contact the winners via email on 19th November.

The judges decision is final.....that would be me!

My daughter is going to school in her Pudsey pj's!

Hi Charli. I'm often the same, I won't necessarily do anything specific but I will always sponsor or donate. I want to get the children a Pudsey bear this year :D
ReplyDeleteHi KD, that is so cute! I was looking at the Pudsey PJs in ASDA last night. I hope she has a fun day x
For children in need I'll undoubtedly be helping my mum sell some Pudsey themed cupcakes with the proceeds going to comic relief. We also bought some (minging) cupcakes from Greggs but they offended my taste buds so we'll just ignore that!

I'm afraid I'm not doing anything interesting again. I think I'll be watching the show as usual and donating via phone. I might attempt some spotty nail art to celebrate. I've already posted some of my fave Children in Need merchandise on my blog, some awesome things about! I might have to pop to Lakeland and get a Pudsey cake mould!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to include my email address, it's jaynerobinson88@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI will be sat at home watching Children In Need on TV, ringing up to pledge money with every sad video they show

ReplyDeleteI saw a lego Pudsey bear that I thought might be nice for the little man x
My class (teenagers) has a dress down day today and were treated to coffee and flapjack (made by my own fair hands!) and paid £2.00 each for the privilege with all monies going to Children in Need!

I've had to cut back so much this year and only giving a fraction of my usual donation to Children In Need so feel a bit guilty :-(

Spotty clothes all round at work, and a (shaky, hand-done!) spotty manicure to match. We're doing our main fundraising at work tomorrow, as it's a busier trading day and we'll have more customers in to take part. Always good to be able to raise funds for such a good cause!
ReplyDeletemissloaf@hotmail.co.uk
I've watched it with my girlies and am taking my change into a bank this week
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is doing a sponsored silence, not easy for a 10 yr old!
ReplyDeleteI'm being boring I'm afraid and just watching it on telly. My husband went to work today wearing casual clothes for Children in need, so we donated collectively as a family. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd lol at Sharon, wish my 10 yr old did sponsored silence. :D
Lying on the sofa watching El Tel and wearing a Pudsey ring, donated via text message, none of this ringing up and speaking to someone ha ha!
ReplyDeletePyjamas at work - easy since I am self employed and work from home - and I plan to donate. And maybe I'll be sporting dotty nails!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
