This face of the day includes quite a few of the items I from my
last neglected makeup challenge post. I started off my just applying the Sue Devitt Intensifier on it's own but found it looked a little stark. I wasn't sure how the Kjaer Weiss eyeshadow would look with it but was pleasantly surprised by the results. The Laura Mercier Lip Velvet in Cassis is a lovely colour but it does show up every imperfections because of it's unusual texture. What's not visible to the naked eye becomes very obvious in the gigantic lip picture!

ReplyDeleteI have to say that if the Lip Velvet shows your imperfections, you haven't any. Beautiful colour- I'm a sucker for deep lip shades!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, you really do make a lovely smoky/hazy effect with your shadows, I could do with trying that. I really like the lip colour on you, shame you are not getting on with the texture, are you getting anything from the LM moonlight collection?

ReplyDelete@Nina and flora_mundi: I was just as little worried that it was showing up the areas where my lips were a bit dehydrated. I guess that next time a balm before I apply would help prepare my lips.

ReplyDeleteJust the one eyeshadow I just posted about, its an interesting shade, different to what I'd normally go for. LM are one of the brands on my ok list (about what we had emailed about) so I am trying to pay them a bit more attention ;) x
