Modesty Brown Turns One!

It's been a whole year since I started writing this blog. Ironically, I started it as a way to stick to a no buy. You can see how well that went! It's been a really interesting journey so far and I quite like to look back from time to time to see how things have changed. My must-buy-from-every-MAC-collection urges have gone, I've developed a terrible habit for taupes and I've discovered many gorgeous alternative brands to lust after.

I often wondered whether I might burn out or run out of things to talk about. What keeps me going is you. The conversations and friendships that have come from writing this blog mean a lot to me. When I first started out, I was essentially talking to myself and I couldn't have conceived of followers and comments at that point. I must say a special thank you to Dainty Dollymix who found me and introduced me to the World of Twitter! I also want to say a big thank you to Visionary Beauty, London Makeup Girl, Get Lippie, Sparklz and Shine and Nina "In The Sweet Shop" for all their support, advice and inspiration over the last year.

There are so many of you that I want to thank but rather than let this turn into a long list of names, I thought instead I would do a little giveaway in honour of the occasion.

The Prize

 

The prize consists of a Haus of Gloi bubbling scrub in the scent Who Needs Love (from the recent Valentine's collection), Accessorize Eyeshadow in Molten, Nails Inc. Diet Coke nail varnish in Caramel, mini Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream and mini Triology Mist Toner. I will also include a GOSH eyeliner in Truly Brown not pictured above.

To enter the giveaway, you simply need to be a follower (GFC, Bloglovin', feedburner etc just let me know) and leave me a comment below. You can write anything you like; the colour of your toes, your favourite biscuit, the reason you hate Monday's etc., just not "enter me" as it makes me feel funny!
